There are way too many holes to fill, yet you're moving the house for a QB where there isn't consensus on him. Smart. - Powerslave

It’s not like will miss him - GERBE!!!75PTS
Agreed
I have no issue with the suspension
and I can't believe I am saying this because he is on of the biggest POS in this league but I don't have an issue with Gudas not getting any suspension.
If it was any other player nobody would be talking about it

It's tough, if there was an angle that was inline we could see if he was trying to jump out of the way or not. The angle we do have it appears that he jumps straight at his head. And it appears Simmonds might have been blocking Gudas' view of Palmieri something an inline angle would also show.
I think there has to be some suspension if the NHL wants to be serious in deterring this stuff.

I saw one angle where Simmonds had his leg out and it clearly looks like Gudas is trying to jump out of his way. I am not sure if he saw Palmieri at all until the last moment.
When I first heard there was something that happened with Gudas I was like what does he have to do to get thrown out and then I saw a replay and thought it was just a collision.

You're right, if it was anyone else it's a non-issue, but it wasn't anyone else, it was a known head-hunter, and there's no conclusive evidence that shows he wasn't head hunting again.
There's some evidence that maybe he didn't see him, but camera angles can be deceiving.
