Re the PK:

All you have to do is to look back in the history of the Flyers to each era in which they had a good PK. There was always one thing in common, they were aggressive and pressured the hell out of the puck. The current PK style is much too passive and guys like Filppula and Lehtera aren't guys that are going to play an aggressive style. They have the horses up front to have a better, more aggressive PK, they just need to start using them.

My forward pairings on the PK would be:

Couturier-Konecny
Giroux-Laughton
Couturier-Simmonds
Laughton-Leier

3 out of the four pairs feature a good faceoff man, and if needed for a key faceoff on the 4th pair, you can sub Filppula for Laughton to take the draw. While Couturier and Laughton would be playing heavy minutes, they are probably the 2 guys best suited for it and they would always have a fresh partner. When one of these guys is in the box, I'd sub in Raffl when needed.

Jori Lehtera should never be killing penalties for this team.
