Gudas is an absolute moron and does not belong in the NHL.
He needs to be beaten up on a regular basis. |

Observations:
- This team needs Elliott back. Not saying he was Bobrovsky in there but he seemed to be a calming influence on this team.
- The 3rd pairing just isn't what it needs to be right now. I don't have much faith in either guy at this time. Maybe it's time to slide Alt in or bring Sanheim back up. They need more skill back there.
- Didn't mind the line shake up in the bottom 6. I actually thought the 3rd line looked faster. Raffl has looked MEH to me lately.
- If you want to roll 4 lines then you need to upgrade somewhere. Either bring up Lindblom to play on the 3rd line and slide Raffl down to the 4th line or somehow upgrade the 4th line. And I didn't the 4th line was bad last night.
- What is up with Weise? Not saying I really want to see him but maybe he would be motivated if slid back in on the 4th line and back in the lineup.
- Need to get back on the winning track saturday. Too close in standings to go into any prolonged losing streak

Two tough goals as Lyon clearly needs work on his 5 hole. Elliott is the only option they have right now. But how long will he hold up? It's probably still a few years before Hart or any prospect is a viable NHL option.
And this team isn't headed anywhere beyond a swift 1st round exit so long as a Lappy is still running the penalty kill. I've reached the point where I'm holding Hextall accountable for this as he's been sitting in his hands long enough. A change at this coaching position could have justified 2 years ago and there has been little to no improvement since. |

I’m glad Bc konecny and Patrick are up on the top 2 lines. I thought weal looked good the last couple games...he’s trying to make something happen.
Leier on the 2nd pp after being scratched for forever? What the hell is that?
There is a 3rd line spot ready for Lindblom to take. I’m not sure what else they need to see from him. No he’s not setting the world on fire but when you watch him he has nhl tools, skating and size. He’s 21 not a baby anymore. |

Does Ronald start to feel any pressure to help the team he has neglected? Another year of clode wasted. |

It's too bad because I have always liked the Flyers and you have lots of good players who play the game the right way and with respect, with one exception.

I'm done with Gudas. He's in that Rinaldo mold of player where you know it's only a matter of time before the stupid comes back. Thankfully it's a lot fewer and far between with Gudas than it was with Rinaldo but the end result is all the same. |

In any case you guys are in a battle for the playoffs, hope you make it because there is a great hockey tradition in Philly.
Oh yeah, and there is that other sport with the pigskin, good luck! |

Who knows maybe he can be dealt at the TDL to a team looking for some physical depth in the playoffs. That could possibly lead to a ( healthy } Morin being called up |

While there were certainly other issues in the game if the Flyers get NHL caliber goaltending they win that game. Tough spot for Lyon. Hate the way they played in the 3rd period. Playing the defensive side of the puck is understandable but you have to apply some attack on the opposition. The best way to protect a one goal 3rd period lead is to score another goal. |

Well he was the most penalized player in the league when we picked him up in a trade so maybe someone wants him. When he is in control of his game he is a decent depth D man. Just seems like the liability for him to put your team down is always there. |

Of course, the difference being, that Gudas is actually a good hockey player when he's not being stupid (and still the team's only right shot). |

Top two lines were good. Ghost and Provorov are a joy.
Gudas' hit was unfortunate. Not what he meant to do. I respect he answered the bell. A lot of players don't or won't. |

I can't see him doing anything. They absolutely need the next game or they're going to fall out of it. They're a bubble team but I don't want to see a wasted year where they just miss the playoffs. Worst case scenario and looking more likely |

Yeah.
They played not to lose. I really think they just lack faith as a team in any goalie not Elliott right now.
