I’m starting to think the bigger problem on the PK is the defenseman.
It would have helped a lot if Morin, who should thrive on a PK giving his skill set and size, was ready this season, but he is injured and still in long term project mode.
Amac has been pretty good this year but ideally he wouldn’t be a top PKer. Hagg eventually should be ok in PK but as a rookie he’s had his share of mistakes. Relying on Manning and Gudas too much gets you to where they are currently, near the bottom of the league on PK.
Provorov is the one guy who seem to mostly make the right read and able to clear the puck when he gets it. The rest have been mediocre to bad. - Marc D
Past 4 years (About 300 games), only the Arizona Coyotes have a higher GA/60 on the PK.
What's been the constant during those 4 years? |

Reagrdless of intent, his feet left the ice and he cross checked a player in the head. It's not like he gently nudged him int he shoulder or something. If he didn't leave his feet, I'd agree. But the fact that he turned himself into a projectile is where the issue is. - jmatchett383
Exactly.
And I'm not even sure Gudas knew Palmieri was even there.
I think Gudas jumped to keep from clipping Simmonds, who was obscuring Palmieri.
Gudas is gonna get what he gets because of his past recklessness, but I don't think there was intent here to hurt Palmieri so much as not to knee his own teammate. |

Elliot out on the ice today which leaves me to believe his injury shouldn't be a major concern. |

The same as the over/under of Simmonds scoring 30 goals. |

I don't think the gudas hit was intentional or malicious. If it was someone else it isn't really talked about and probably no retaliation. I think the aftermath immediately following have as much to do with the absolute cheap shot the rat Marchand did and devil's kind of sick of getting pummeled |

Really bad time for the this team to be having goalie issues. The team needs Elliott back. Neuvy sure seems to get hurt or sick a lot. |

Are they even looking at it? - Scoob
It was a 2 minute interference minor and the correct call. I doubt they would even bother.

I think the only correct call would be for castration.
Castration is when they twist their hands on your arms so that it gives you a slight rug burn, right? |

I'm not disagreeing with this. That being said, he is still responsible for his actions on the ice despite his intent. |
