Habs will draft him, then trade him. Turns into John Leclaire 2.0.

I see it to other way.
we all know Markov would never play for another team than the Habs, it was Mtl or mother Russia all along. newlywed he decided to go back home. cannot blame him. and cannot blame MB either.

Radulov is another story. MB already stated that the demands from the Radulov camp were completely insane. that was back in January, more than a year ago.
right there, at that point, if you know you won't resign him you have to trade his ass at the trade dead line. That is on MB for not doing so.

me too...don't think Markov had much left in the legs anyway... Radulov departure is a good part of what killed this season to me...I think he would have made Drouin much better...starting with his work Ethic !

Wasn't saying which one they should have kept. Was saying Markov was in the bag if MB wanted him, Radolov was going for the biggest payday he could get, so there is little you can control about that.

Wilde stated both were out of MB's control. I call horsepoop on that (like most of what he says)

Not a big fan of Brian Wilde, but this is bang on.

I am not sure Bergevin gets a free pass on things "out of his control" like Markov and Radulov going elsewhere. On the other hand, those decisions might not have been bad calls, long term.

Is this a playoffs team with Radulov? I don't know. Long term it might be best anyway, like you said.
