If you are going outside of hockey to get someone to emulate, I will play your game: get someone like Belichick to run the team and from the players what they are able to produce and stop the sentimentality of holding onto a player because he is part of the core. F..k, these aren’t your children....they are professional athletes who signed a contract to play.....if they aren’t delivering, get rid of them And get someone else. This team has no character, no pushback is so so fragile just waiting and expecting something bad to happen to them.

Difficult to see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow through this miserable hockey season and snow. The prize for us at the end if the rainbow really would be what thus team needs if somehow we could draft B Tzachuk. Originally I had the thought of sending AA back to Columbus plus ? FOR J Johnson. I wanted to use Johnson as the incentive to exchange first round choices. But yes Johnson might thrive on the right team with a good partner on a second pair. He has no ed down to their third pair this year, and that us,without R Murray playing (Injury). So maybe the idea that the Blue Jackets could get a #1 for Johnson is wrong. Or, they want not a late #1. Oh well trying to figure out trades is really futile endeavor. Question: if able to draft Tzachuk, would you wish to re do the Panarin for Saad trade?

Foley in denial about the Hawks grasping at straws for the "inexplicable" reason they're last in the division. Give me a break. Don't score enough, don't defend well enough, and poor goaltending without Crawford. It's not rocket science, this team is just not good.

I was going to post before the game. Yeah, he is just another of possible third pair offensive dmen. Long term. He was an AHL all star this season but I do not see star level in his NHL future.

This team is so freaking soft it not funny. I would fire the GM and Coaching staff at the conclusion of the last game. There is a 2 part article on thr-rink tgat exposes just how inept Boman has been as a GM. Also if gou look at the tenure of Coach Q, you see his shelf life ends at about 8-10 years with a team.

Its obvious that the Hawks miss front office talent like Dale Tallon and Ric Dudley. Those guys know how to identify talent. And Trent Yawney who knows how to develop talent.

It doesn't matter in the final analysis. That would mean, after the season Q steps down and the organization pays him the remainder of his contract to be a scout. McDonough will agree that Q is just not the best fit for this rebuilding team.

Highly debatable if Bowman is, either. I expect Q out and one more year for Bowman, whether he deserves it or not is highly debatable.
