Ehrhoff was more than serviceable until the tank years. He then lost interest (which is mostly on him, though I can't blame him), and then his play took a nosedive and he never got it back. The guy can still play, though. In the Olympics, he looked like a man among boys.

If you have a potential top 5 pick and you're willing to move it, why would you trade if for two months of Evander Kane when you're not even going to be in the playoffs? It just doesn't make any sense.

I had to check the standings. They were a borderline playoff team before they got hit by so many injuries. I was kind of surprised by how far they've fallen in the standings.
