keep talking down on the opposition, has backfired two nights in a row. |

Speed and tenacity are what make Hagelin a good penalty killer? Not entirely. It's also his positioning, his timing, his awareness, etc. - are these not the exact same things that make Hunwick bad? I'm not saying Sheary would be bad at killing penalties, but I'm tired of hearing basically that "everyone will be great at it if given a chance"
I only saw the first few shifts of the game. Were the lines ineffective offensively? Or was the score more indicative of our defensive woes? I saw the last 10 of the third at the bar, we looked tired and disinterested (as many do with that score) |

the two nights weren't in a row. it was 2 games in 3 days.
But thanks for creating an account to give us this valuable insight |

The Penguins are 0-3 since Ryan Reaves was traded. There must be a direct correlation. |

I dont know...the VGK's are 0-2 since they got him, arnt they?
Pens are actually 1-3 since he last played. They scratched him the day he was traded. |

That's true, they did play that night. So yes, 1-3.
But VGK being 0-2 has nothing to do with it, since that doesn't fit my narrative. |

He has his loyal dogs and his loyal detractors (like me). They're both pretty insufferable (including me) for being too far to either side. |

Disinterested and zero defense. The Bruins had 38 shots and the Pens still ended up with 25 blocks! 63! Swiss cheese defense. And DeSmith/Jarry had "one of those games."
I mean the lines were somewhat effective and not conpletely streamrolled but its just weird when Olli Maatta leds the team with goals. I never watched the last frame, so not sure how we finished but ill take you're word that they were disinterested by that point |
