Staple just tweeted a few weeks back that when snow talked to edmonton he asked for a d man in return and that the isles never inquired about hall. Now if they had asked they may have gotten him but they never asked at all. This doesnt make it beter but it's how it was told - Upstate_isles
Like i said. Hes contradicting what he originally tweeted which was they offered hall for Hamonic but Snow refused bcs there would've been a mutiny. He's back peddling it's so funny how people don't want to believe he tweeted that. Unless someone fabricated it on here which I don't think happened because I saw it on multiple sites. |

Yeah, your memory on this could be better than mine. I seem to remember, when we first heard about it, that there was some confusion as to exactly what was offered. If Staple had tweeted it, there shouldn't have been any confusion. I no longer remember all the particulars, but I have some recollection that it went down like you said. When Snow first shopped Hamonic, there were no takers offering comparable value. Then after Hamonic rescinded his trade request, there was the rumor that Snow could have traded him for Hall, but turned it down, because "there would have been a mutiny." I did not recall that Staple had tweeted about it........maybe because I'm not on Twitter. |

Just going by some of the deals Chia has made, I can easily see Hamonic could have been traded for Hall. |

That right there is where the problem lies. I actually think he believes that. Thst structure is what he's looking for. That's why there is EVERY defenseman on the team getting caught behind opposing teams nets not just one or two. That's his actual game plan the guy is a (frank)ing idiot. - Cptmjl
Doug and his 1000 coaches have not helped at all. Doug has done far worse than expected. I get he had no head coaching experience, but he was an assistant coach for a number of years and should have learned what not to do just from all of Cappy's mistakes. |

I don't feel bad for him. He took the job is making millions so boohoo. I'm actually mad he took the job. I care about the team I've been a fan of for forty years. (frank) Doug Weight he'll be just another inept coach that ruined another season for this team and fans like me. I don't understand the sympathy for this guy where was it for our last inept coach? He's just as bad maybe even worse. Can't wait to watch Fritz and Tavares tonight - Cptmjl
It's pretty much just feel bad for the fans. Ledecky, Garth, Dog, and the players brought this on themselves. Total failure across the board. |

It happened. I lost my shat. We all did on here save for a few. Some idiots on here said they would be reluctant to trade Hamonic for him. |

Don't feel bad for these guys they're laughing all the way to the bank and they'll have their springs and summer off. They're not worried about it believe me. If they cared we wouldn't be watching this car wreck every time they play. |

I think he was strong-amed into taking the job. Now he's in over his head and he doesn't know what to do. That's why he can't give a coherent interview. He has no answers and nobody on his massive staff can figure out how to play defense. Its pathetic. |

Isles mgt and coaching are classical former athlete narcissists who act like they are playing the game, not the team they assemble. Very little cerebral understanding of their players and how to blend the team. Typical jock mentality. Whenever Snow opens his mouth he has little to say because he has little to think to begin with. |

Would not surprise me Jimmy. I thought Richardson would at least help the D, but none of these coaches seem to have a clue. Doug's post games are painful now and he has a look of get me out of here now. |

He learned from Capuano that much we know and we have proof every time we watch this team play. |

You can put Jarry's move on the same NHL lowlight reel as Leddy's lazy bonehead pass last night' |

Gibson’s going to demand to be sent back to Bridgeport after the shelling he’s gonna get today. |

These players do not care enough to play hard for a young goalie. |

Gibson is the second star of the game right now (after Davidson of course). |
