So I Have a pal who used to be a manager at Office Depot back in the day. For a few months he had a retarded kid doing work experience with him. They got along well as this kid was really nice and was fairly competent at using the cardboard compactor.
Anyway, a while later the retarded kid got a job at McDonalds and one day me and my pal went there and met with this kid so the two of them could trade some hockey cards.
I can’t remember what the actual trade was but it was obvious my pal was swindling this tard. After happily giving away some good cards for dog poop, the kid talked about going to the card shop in the mall. My pal, ever the saint, says to him “ be careful at those places, they’ll rip you off”.
