I have an issue with Pronman, a couple of months ago he ranked EP at (I think) 11th overall prospect not in the NHL. He is now saying that the SHL is watered down and that’s why EP did as well as he did. He obviously is not an EP fan or not a Nucks fan because he doesn’t evaluate anything about the Canucks well.

Pronman is legit a little (frank)ed up.

A little hard to compare a euro league to say the AHL.

EP surpassed what others have done in the same league, who have turned out just fine in the NHL.

Maybe he has different projections or something. Maybe he projects on points or how many cups a player might win. I have no idea.

Forget Miller, pointless even to mention.

Gretzky is a good comparable.

He was 165 pounds in his rookie season and smashing records.

Pronmans an idiot or a leaf fan, same thing , the shl is a defence structured league so I wouldn't take his comments seriously and I have heard players commenting that its a tough league to dominate in scoring wise.

Jet's hard the hardest schedule last season. Two 10 game road trips and the most back to back games in the league. This year they have the least back to back games.

No reason for back to backs, 3 in 4s etc its brutal, playing in weekend tournaments we have 4 games in 2 and a half days and its brutal but we all have to do it so were all gassed by sunday

Most teams only have about 10 a year., I think. If they didn't have to give those 5 day breaks you could eliminate 2 more of those.

Most likely true in what you are saying. It's really hard to ignore it. As for draft plus 1 seasons go. It's damn close to one of the best.
