He floats a lot but I like Goldobin enough to give him another training camp to solidify himself as an NHLer. The kid can produce, but lacks the killer instinct so far and isnt skilled enough to be a Kovalev-type floater. I am hoping this taste of success leads him to a good summer

He's frustrating for me to watch because I am rooting for him and I think he has a skillset that exceeds most of those in the Canucks system right now. But mannnnnn does he ever float.

Even in the offensive zone he sticks to the outside a little too much (which would be fine if he darted into the play for opportunities). He needs that inner drive to get better

Probably not at this point, but it did take Sven a while to figure it out and I think Goldobin's ceiling is much higher. I just hope he works hard this summer to make the Canuck's decision easier next training camp
