Gaudette looked really good yesterday, he's not a smooth skater, kinda clunky but he gets around ok. I wouldn't call him fast by any means.

Not a speed demon, not slow though. He will improve with games played and a summer of conditioning, like just about every other prospect. Boeser came in last season and people said he needed t work on his skating. He was just fine this year. I think Gaudette could be a 3rd line 35 point player next season.

It's always fun to right off 20 year old kids. I think he is finally comfortable. Also team isn't in a playoff hunt so mistakes won't be punished as much.
