as an aside, regarding draft lottery odds from Carol's other blog, I think the 31st team should have a 50% chance of 1st, 25% for 2nd, 15% for 3rd, 10% 4th.

I can understand wanting to deter teams from tanking, but the odds shouldn't be so stacked against them to get that pick.

maybe I'm nuts. just seems more punitive than necessary.

but with that in mind, I'm not sure what I would do with every other finishing places odds. I like the idea of there being a chance a team can move up and down, but think it should be at least 50% they stay where they finish.
