From Ryan Biech
The Comets should get some serious reinforcements over the next two weeks with Jasek joining now, Kole Lind expected to make his way there soon, and the Canucks season coming to an end which will mean that Nikolay Goldobin, Tyler Motte, and possibly Reid Boucher will make their way to Utica. Not to mention, there is also a slight chance the Jonathan Dahlen could make his way to North America too. It all means that Canucks fans will want to keep a closer eye on the Comets during the AHL playoffs. - Eldebrink
If Bo goes to the Worlds I will follow that. Sean Burke said they will call him soon

Top five pick again next year UNLESS kids like Pettersson, Dahlen and Gaudette make a huge impact like Boeser did at the NHL level, personally I don't see that happening, at least not next year.
Edit: but I hope it does!! - LeftCoaster
I hope so too. I think Joulevi has a good shot to make it. |

If they jettison Eriksson and Sutter, I wouldn't hate the Sedins back:
Leipsic Horvat Boeser
Goldobin Pettersson Granlund
Sedin Sedin Gagner
Virtanen Gaudette Gaunce/Archibald/Motte
Not that that looks terrific or anything... Man there are a lot of G names on this team. - NewYorkNuck
Sutter is going nowhere.

Well TG has said Leipsic and Horvat can't play together. |

Sutter can (frank) right off with his poopty game and attitude to Alberta with the rest of the pipeline protesters.
And Eriksson can head East as well, I don't care if he doesn't stop until he hits Sweden.

100% with you on this one. Soft on pucks. Both of them. |

With all the trades they could make , drafting top 5 , and Goldobins play making lately I would be surprised if he played with Bo . That is not even mentioning about going in to free agency.
When Sven was healthy for his last stint he was not playing with Bo. |

I'd like to see Baertschi traded for a 2nd but that's wishful thinking. I'd also like to see Goldobin get a chance to stick in the NHL for a full year. His speed is better than Sven's. But he's never proven himself. |

Goldobin is getting better game to game but it is that time of the year that is bad for assessing talent. I would like to see Canucks pick up a top line LW. I would like a three year signing of Perron .

Vegas has the cap space and a bunch of ELC coming. Perron is very unlikely. |

Could maybe get a 3rd for Baertschi at the draft. Goldobin reminds me of Baertschi from two years ago. Peripheral player, inconsistant, lacks drive and determination. As “bad” as Desjardins was he seems to have gotten through and Baertschi is now considered a legitimate middle six winger. I don’t think that relationships between coach and players are as strained as media makes them out to be. Media thinks Goldobin and Hutton are in Greens bad books, but I think he actually wants to help each player succeed until such time as the GM replaces them. |

I am saying he is better than what we currently have . There isn't a lot in free agency available.
In Canucks system the top Left Handed players are Pettersson Gadjovich Sven Leipsic.
Unless you go long term on Kane players like Maroon or Perron are your next best options. It was Benning who said we are looking for a gritty forward not me |

They are winning games. Core is stale has turned into re-signing the only core that is left. Everybody is driving the tank to be the next oilers. Thats why its going in so many different directions |

I don’t think 🐻 🧀 or Granlund are back next year. This end of season run could solidify Gagner with the twins as a 4th (even strength ice time) line with 1b PP time.
Goldobin Horvat Boeser
Zadina Sutter Erickson
Gaunce Gaudette Virtanen
Sedin Sedin Gagner
Archibald

I’d rather pass on a FA then commit 3 years to a marginal player (like Gagner was this past off season). |

Canucks gave up one second 3 years ago? Doubt he is more valuable now, but who knows.
Edit - kind of like a used car. You don’t often get more than you paid, sometimes, but not often. |

Oilers are in year 9 of suckage, Canucks are in year five, we may catch them at nine years if things don't improve soon! |

He will finish close to 70 pts this year . He had 46 last year. He is better than marginal |
