Funny Jays story: friend of mine is a jersey and hat wearing fan, all year long. He’s out for brunch this weekend and sporting his Donaldson kit. Guys coming up to him saying sorry they have been eliminated from post season, sorry about the season ending injury, yadda yadda. The hate he gets from total strangers was unusually high. I would never chirp a stranger, especially as a Canuck fan

Only thing i've taken away from this past week:

Demko's pads and overall gear are great, he's the like the anti-markstrom when it comes to goalie gear.

Camping for the long weekend and seems i missed 2 auditions.

I've seen the replay and read the blog...Are people on here happy with the play of Demko and Gaudette?

I see Gaudette has been penciled into the 3rd line C for next year...with 0 points...but his speed and playmaking are sorely needed here.

Zadina is kinda like a ufa in that he is not our property yet...

Gaudette got his feet wet in game one. Looked ok, he was on the 4th line. Game two, played well on a line with Virtanen and Boucher I think it was. As for Demko, he made some great saves but let in 3 in the last 5 minutes of the 3rd blowing a 4-1 lead. Wins a win I guess.

Benning should call him everyday. I wonder what we could get for our scraps. If burrows got us a blue chip prospect what could we get for Dowd and Motte lol

On a side note. I hate the Habs. Total disgrace

Cool, just a reminder that woman are people who have free choice and the objective shouldn't be to 'keep' one. You keep your old shirt or your tv, your partner can choose to stay or go, it should never be looked at as keeping 'a woman', that thought process is abhorrent to me based on your past.



Back to hockey, I was talking about how ugly our lineup looked without the twins unless we get really high and imagine that we can sign both Taveres and Kane.

I don't think anyone is being fooled by the garbage games after the TDL. Just because people enjoy the effort and the winning doesn't mean they are being fooled.

I know what I have taken away from these games is "How do we jump from a bottom feeder to a bubble team in one year?"I would be satisfied next year finishing middle 10-20

I am optimistic about our future as never, in my lifetime, and I have been following Canucks since 1970, has this organization had so many intriguing prospects.
Do i think they are a playoff team, next season, (frank) no.

No playoffs for the next while. Sutter, Gudbranson, Baertchi, Tanev and a few others here can't seem to stay healthy...and it will affect us next season.

I would like to see a different direction next year. If we bring back the Twins we will finish bottom 7 again . I would like to see them try something new. Canucks have 20 players signed next year and 20 mil in cap space . I would like to see Tanev traded for a top 6 center or LW.

If we fall to 7 th in drafting take Dobson
