I just realized our Lightning blogger Sam is actually a Devil's fan. When he first took over the Lightning blog he had New Jersey Devil's flare. How is this going to work during this playoff series?

This is easy knock Taylor on his ass all night long, very little secondary scoring or playoff experience. Break up their center ice pressure and finish them off quickly.

Your cream puff team couldn’t knock the head off a beer. Good luck with that.

Pretty sure i could score on vasilevsky the way he's been playing. Dan Girardi? hes always good for some freebie goals in the playoffs too. Finish us quickly like the 3 losses you had in the regular season? It will be fun to see someone try and knock TayTay on his ass all night considering how easy it is to catch him and not have him dance around you.. Will be more fun to see Noesen, Palmeri, Coleman, Boyle & Maroon slap kucherov, Johnson, & Palat around like rag dolls...

To the lighting fans that aren't idiots, apologies. I had to,
Should be a fun and exciting match up.

Was hopeing for NJ instead of Leafs, not because we have a easier matchup (both Toronto and Devils are well capable of knocking us out) but I think it will be a great series. Boyle returning is a nice story, he is truly loved here. Also to experience Halls first playoffs will be fun. And this matchup has a 3PM start on saturday, which is great for europeans

Awesome to see playoff hockey again, last year this time of the year sucked. May the best team win!

As for TBL, I really hope this 3 day break will do good for the team and that Cooper can regroup them again. If we play like we did the last couple of weeks then Devils will get through. Routine will be key here, the only players with any kind of playoffs experience in NJ is what, Zajac, Boyle and Greene? We have plenty. Also we have and advantage in starpower who could step up and put a game away.

Formwise? NJ got the edge as of right now.

If you want to gauge by the regular season you’ll be sadly mistaken, but it’s been awhile for your fans it’s easy to forget what playoff hockey is like.

Have to get the team D in order and tighten up the PK or we're going to be out in 7. The Devils can flat-out fly and, while the secondary scoring may be a bit lacking, their top end talents are great.

Play responsible, cycle-cycle-cycle, and stay out of the box.

Don't take the Devils lightly, boys.

Maybe in Florida you only watch playoff hockey when your team is in it, but up North we pay attention every year.

Maroon, Vatanen, Grabner, Johansson (if he comes back), Moore, Palmieri, Lovejoy..
