The owner said they're not rebuilding, which is confusing, considering Fletcher was at least a competent GM. He brought in Dubnyk and signed Staal to a very smart deal.

I don't get this one

This just goes to show how (frank)ing awful our previous GM was.

Fletcher brought in two core players for almost nothing, and constantly made the playoffs.

He also made a lot of bad moves that got him fired, but at least they were always competitive
