U make it seem like it’s a coin flip
While we don’t know for sure,
educated guesses can be made
I DVRd every game on TV this past season from these QBs (and Luke Falk, who i also like)
I’m telling ya,
Allen looked like garbage 90% of the time
Idk what games he “looked good” in,
but they weren’t games broadcasted on Cable tv here
He had ONE good half in all the games i saw
That doesn’t mean there’s no way he can be successful...
but he also scares me more than anyone else bc i watched him play like crap over & over - jdfitz77

Well then u can look back to BEFORE this season even started
& you’ll see how i REPEATEDLY brought up that Rosen was ranked AHEAD of Darnold, and that Darnold passed him bc Rosen got hurt
Been a fan of UCLA since i was a kid
and went there for a year
So u can pretend u were in on Rosen before me, but it’s just not true
I still have the game vs A&M on my DVR
That 4th quarter was freaking amazing
Thankfully, i taped the stupid wrestling show after too, bc the game ran over & i would’ve missed the last 5min of the amazing comeback
“Chosen Rosen” - jdfitz77
I guess today was my day to go to school. I'm a quick learner, but not quite quick enough to get a degree in one year.
U can crack your jokes
Doesn’t change that i was talking up Rosen before this season even started
Go check the archive brah, I’ll wait - jdfitz77
I give points to Hatboro who came in looked at all the QB's with no bias toward their schools and chose Rosen. Stirring the pot with someone who just has to be the "one" is satisfying.
E-Rod should go to Jack's wing. I still can't believe we haven't done that. Mittelstadt should get a chance to play center...we can always put Rodger back there if Middlingstats is better served on the wing.

Strange that neither bylsma nor housley put erod with eichel.

Seams like an obvious pairing - Boss34
Yeah, I don't get it.
I think MP is right that E-Rod played better as a center, but he had magical chemistry with Jack once...we aren't even going to try and capture lightning in a bottle there?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. He decided to play out the string with 28 and 29 there for some unknown reason
We were a dumpster fire all season. No reason not to experiment.
Not giving it a shot is like the grade school teacher separating me and my friend because we were too loud...at recess. - RhinoFan
You really think it goes that way? We're a bad team and struggle to score, so let's just rotate a bunch of third line wingers that we don't expect to work well with Jack onto the first line? If Jack thought it was a good fit, you would have seen it.

So Jack is coaching? I wasn't aware he was making lines, thought that was Phil's job. Not saying he doesn't have say in it, but I doubt Jack is telling Housley who he's playing with.
And that is the point, I could see E-Rod and Jack playing well together...they certainly did at Boston. Why you assume those two wouldn't work together is beyond me.
Beyond that, even further down the rabbit hole, we were already playing a bottom 6 forward (Gus) with Jack as it was...Gus could have just as easily played 4th line center while the experiment was tested. Wouldn't have cost you a single thing this season we were dead last.

I like the idea of E-Rod with Jack. Other winger on that line would be if we get one of the big ones in the draft.
