Thanks Carol
It would be nice to see Tryamkin in a Canucks Uniform again. Maybe with WD gone a fresh start might be enough to get him back here. |

Hey Thunda, maybe drafting Svechnikov would entice Tryamkin to come back to North America... |

TG is pretty hard on the kids too. If not worse sometimes with the scratching and calling out. I doubt Tree is going to come back to that again. |

If Benning did go after a big name defenceman like a Karlsson(pending availability)you would think Tryamkin could be a huge bargaining chip considering he does not want to play for us. It would be a prospect lost but somehow I don’t think he intends to play for the Canucks again. |

It’s the NHL you have to be hard to a certain extent. Every player needs a different type encouragement and feed back. Good coaches know who, how, and when to push each individual player. It’s what separates good coaches from bad.
Some like a Tryamkin are little b!tches and need to be coddled. |

Get the hate flowing early!
Tanev + 2nd + Hutton to Toronto.
Lilgren + 1st + Zeitsev (worse contract in the league = cap dump ) to Van.
Zeitsev = the return of Tree.
We pick 6th and mid 20th AND add three d to the depth chart!

It's time to let kids make some mistakes and learn from them. They can't be any worse then the guys that don't make mistakes but are no good.

Bertzzu on the draft lottery : "Someone is going to complain about the balls. It is what it is with this process. I like Bouchard in London, lots of depth in this draft. #Canucks don't have to take a defenseman, take the best player available."

We saw a lot of that this season. One of the main reasons I enjoyed it. |

I have Dobson, Boqvist and Hughes ahead of Bouchard at this point. I was excited to watch Bouchard after seeing his #’s compared to his teammates but he was underwhelming compared to what I expected. He’s good on the PP for sure, but I don’t love him at 5v5 |

It’s really tough to rank the defemsmen this draft. I definitely have Boqvist at the back of the pack. I simply can’t ignore Bouchards production |

He's not dynamic. He's good but doesn't do anything that separates him from others. Doesn't have speed, not a great stick handle, isn't physical, doesn't impress defensively. The rest of the guys all have something. Bouchard is just "good" at everything. I'm sure he will be a fine nhl player. Van needs dynamic. |

Agree with this.
Gonna be interesting to follow his career, because his #'s suggest that he's having a ridiculous draft season. |

After seeing some of them play there are a few in the top 20 not dynamic. Okay but not dynamic |

His numbers speak for legit top pairing D man but he's not in many conversations for top 5. Red flag right there i'd say. I wonder what his Points per 60 minutes are compared to other CHL defenders. |

Some of the top 20 that I consider so far just decent nothing special are
Wilde Merkley Smith Fabaree and even Veleno . There are also a few I have not seen play yet |
