Well (frank)... - Wildschwein
Snow traded Hamonic and his 20-25 min a night for picks, which he then refused to use in trade to address the minor league defense. Now, he's stuck with sh!tty first round picks and still a minor league defense. Its maddening |

It’s a deep draft. There are some really good players available there. Just don’t fuk it up like Boston did. |

Maybe he flips them now? Should be able to pick up a decent defender in the exchange. |

Nino, Strome, Reinhardt, and Dal Colle. Top 5 picks.......none are on the isles. You'll pardon me for having ZERO faith in the management to draft well at 11 and 12 respectively.
Sidenote : Barzal was absolute luck (and to prove they didnt realize what they had, this years Calder candidate, and most likely winner, couldnt make the isles roster last season. |

The idea of those picks had more value then they do right now at 11 and 12. He should have brought in a decent defender as soon as he shipped out his biggest minute eating d man. |

Isles havent drafted bad other than any 4 or 5 pick ever so 11, 12 could be ok (looks around in disbelief) |

Calgary beat Vegas 7-1 on the final day of the regular season. Had Vegas won that game in regulation the #Isles would have had one of the winning combinations in the #NHLDraftLottery |

Hoped for better luck with the lottery but Dean or Lou should be able to do something with these picks. Now we just need one of them hired. |

The Hamonic trade was one of the few good things Garth did. Problem is he never followed up. |

Going to be surprising if Lou stay with Dubas ready to be GM and Shanny being the boss. I'll gladly take Lombardi if Lou is not available. |

His first four seasons on the isles he was their best dman and biggest minute eater. Let’s not forget his formidable years, and save for his last year he was the best dman on the isles. That player and or minutes weren’t replaced. I don’t care that he sucks now.. |

I don’t see any scenario where Lou comes to the island and takes on this mess. I’ll take literally any GM with any experience at this point. ANYONE.
Snows comments about Sorokin not coming here anytime soon when he’s the one who drafted him is like when Milbury said on national TV one year that Chara and Spezza were the best players for the Sens and possibly the league when he traded basically both of them. It’s laughable. |

Ask flames fans about hammer. They return for him was massive. The criminal offense by Snow was not using any of those picks to improve the roster in season |

I don’t understand the relevence of Hamonic and him sucking right now. My entire point of any Hamonic discussion was that his minutes were never replaced. I don’t care if he’s a -45 every season. The fact remains that for 80% of his time on the island he was the isles best dman who played top pair minutes and faced every teams top line. The return gotten for Hamonic at the time of trade was value and those picks should have been used to acquire a similar 20-25 min a night dman to replace that. |
