I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I absolutely disagree.
I thought the hit on Doumulin was not that bad, because if Doumulin hadn't altered course and tried to avoid Ovechkin coming from the front, I don't know that Wilson does more the brush by him.
The ZAR hit on the other hand, was filthy. It was late. Maybe not brutally late, but still late enough that it didn't have to happen. Wilson absolutely let his feet. There can be no argument on that. If he didn't jump through the hit how does he end up sitting on the top of the boards? And as for contact, take another look at that still shot. It is not shoulder to shoulder. ZAR's shoulder is in the middle of Wilson's chest, while Wilson's shoulder is squarely on ZAR's chin.
