this is pretty reasonable:

This will be a suspension for his history and that's probably justified, but still thought last nights hit was the least egregious of the three questionable ones he's had this postseason

- jimbo83

He dug his own hole on this one. Dirty or not, he goes out there with the intent to hurt people and, often times, succeeds at that. The fact that he loves to smile and laugh and taunt people he's taking cheap shots at only proves what a bucket of festering human waste he is.

This particular hit may or may not have been deserving of the "dirty" label, but the overall manner in which he carries himself and acts on the ice every night is why he'll hopefully land a big, fat suspension. Playing rough and tumble is one thing, but being a consistently smug diarrhea-laden diaper about it means he has absolutely no respect for anyone he plays against.

He's one of an extremely small number of players I'd wholly enjoy watching be stretchered off the ice.

Yeah that probably should have been a game or two. It was close to a hockey play, but he was about a second or two early, and blindsided him which I believe current rules say are punishable by fine or suspension.

Regarding player safety, why was Dumolin playing last night after a concussion in game 2? Was it the miracle doctors in Pittsburgh again, same ones that healed Lemieux’s fractured wrist in a week?

He carries himself like an agitator. No different than Clutterbuck, Avery, Carcillo, etc etc etc. If smiling gets you upset, maybe try watching horseshoes.

The video was just a little ribbing. Lighten up Aussie.

I think last nights hit was clean the Doumulin one should have been a game. And I haven't seen the Wennberg one jimbo is talking about.

Mate I'm still hearing how bad Matt Cooke was while they try & defend Wilsons hit.

I'm going crazy (& sleep deprived ).

Guys a loaded weapon & hes just taken out a young guy that needs surgery that pretty much did everything he could in the contact & got smoked illegally. I still say it's charging.

You know my view on that one as well. If my take on Wilson is inaccurate, I will admit it. But the build up of evidence and events is what likely will result in a suspension here. But I highly doubt it will serve as any kind of deterrent, since probably of the one game variety, if it happens at all

Avery didn't do anything but run his mouth. And got suspended for 18 games because of it. Side note, he's a very strange Instagram follow.

Let’s be real though, you damn well know Lemieux and Crosby had a conference call with Bettman after the game

The officiating and decision making by the NHL is and has been awful, how about the Stastny goal last night, clearest kicking motion......good goal

Its sucks he got injured, I don't want to see anyone injured, well maybe Gudas, but sometimes unfortunate things happen, and if I'm being honest, if it was a Ranger on the end of that hit, I probably would be pissed too.

it's amazing how much hate that dude got considering he never injured anyone or towed the line on illegal hits/etc (to my knowledge). Guy literally just talked poop and it was the end of the world to everyone who wasn't a rangers fan.

2008 1st round against the devils is still one of the most amusing/entertaining series for me.

Wilson is no "agitator". He doesn't get under people's skin and draw penalties. He bruises their brain and inflicts actual damage to their body with the utmost intent to do so and then finds it comical.

Clutterbuck may not be the most stand-up human being, and I'd happily accept him being banished from the NHL and his contract voided, but he's never seriously injured anyone, in that manner, that I can recall. He has certainly never done it twice in 2 games. Guys like Avery and Carcillo were trash too.

They really should either change the rule so every is allowed, or everything is disallowed.

Personally if you are skilled enough to be battling a defenseman and be able to kick the puck in god bless you, it should count.

they want to increase goal scoring right? Instead of removing every piece of goalie equipment possible or trying to make the nets bigger, just allow that crap - it takes skill.

Claude Lemieux was probably one of the most hated guys in the NHL and by every fan other than the team he was playing on. The agitator role is a love/hate relationship. You want it on your team but hate when they aren't.

If you want hockey(not saying you do) to be just a bunch of skilled guys who never check or talk poop or fight, its definitely not a game I would be interested in. Its basically the allstar game before the 3 on 3.
