From ESPN website
“The league says Marchand has been put on notice that his actions are unacceptable and that similar behavior in the future will be dealt with through supplemental discipline. Marchand could be fined or suspended by the NHL if he continues to lick players.”
Wooohoooo, next time The Rat gets a $500 fine payable in 12 equal installments over a 3year period.
That should definitely settle his a$$ right down fast, like Lightning! |

Am a bit bored...
It is a very, very good thing the Bills retained their #1 2019 pick...and next year’s draft should bring in 2-3 additional starters. ... couple that with some decent (~$70M) Cap Space ... 2019 should be the break out years for Bills and Sabres!!!
I see a 4-12 record brewing, at best 6-10 if McDermott finds away to motivate them to play above their expected capabilities. I see the D improving nicely...from a late-twenties ranking to say around 12-15. But that O, unless Daboll is a genius...

Bold is where I expect the Bills to give Allen a test drive at starting. |

Now that we have Dahlin, and many on here think that Risto is better suited for 2nd pairing...
I wouldn’t mind the Sabres working out a deal for Darnell Nurse. He seems to have found his game on both sides of the puck. 26 points with very little if any PP time, +15, positive FF. And tough as hell...would love the physicality the blue line could have with Dahlin, Nurse, Risto, MCCabe, and Bogo during his 15 game season.
Maybe Bogo and Sam for Nurse +, just not sure what that + is

I was wondering where you expected that to happen. Out of the bye week looks like a good spot especially if they start out like that.
I hope McCarron is really good or not noticeably better than Allen through TC and they just go with Allen out of the gate. Baptism by fire. |

9-7 again in my opinion. Seriously who did we lose this off season? Tyrod , woods and incognito.
That shouldn't cost the Bill's 5 wins.
Baltimore is a w
San Diego home opener is a w.
Titans is a w
Jets is a w
Lions another w.
Why the huge drop off?
We upgraded at qb, linebacker, dt, and cornerback with vonte.
Calvin should be healthier at wr.
Zay cant be worse
O line took a hit.
9-7 or 10-6 |

“Just guys”
Your hate is unreal dude
Having Kane &/or O’Reilly wouldn’t prevent us from drafting & developing our Kucherov, Pasternak, etc etc
Chicago wouldn’t have won Cups with Toews & Kane & Keith if they didn’t also have Hossa, Hjarlmarsson, Seabrook, Sharp, etc etc etc - jdfitz77
Please don’t mention a HOF player and compare him to Kane and O’Reilly.
Thanks in advance |

If we're talking about perceived value, I wouldn't be shocked if ROR ends up in the Hall somehow, not so much because he'll deserve it, but because the hockey world is in love with him. |

I would burn the place down.
A guy with no Selke's and never had a 70 point season in the HOF?

Thing is, I think in the right situation (not here, most likely), he could end up with a 70 point season or two. It would be a case of a good player having a great year, which isn't that uncommon.
He reminds me so much of Shane Doan. He also received a lot of accolades for being a leader, but the win column indicated something different. The same went for Steve Ott, though to a much lesser degree. |

Shane Doan isn't a hall of famer in my eyes either
Hall of very good sure
But even Doan hit 70 a few times |

I don't think he is either. I don't think either of them are. It's a case of perception being different than reality. |
