Ferland was a factor in that series, but the Canucks loss due to WD's terrible 1-2-3-4 line rotation strategy, refusal to match lines, and the Sbisa-Bieksa trainwreck pairing that was on the ice for like half of the Flames goals.

Also, according to Flames fan, Ferland's gotten away from that style of game since Hartley left and since he's been promoted to a top 6 role.

Wilson is a different animal, he plays the same way no matter what line/role he's given and no matter who his coach is.

The refs might not call it, but the NHL sure will come down on it, it's not like Wilson hasn't been suspended during these playoffs for a similar hit a couple of rounds ago.

I'd honestly be surprised if he got suspended. The league is limp Richard when it comes to this stuff unless their hand is forced by someone leaving on a stretcher.

People act like we had the Vegas version here the whole time. He was (frank)ing terrible for at least half his tenure here.

Credit to him for improving, and I’ll admit he’s turned into a decent dman but I refuse to act like he was a steady dman here.

He and Bieksa cost us the Flames series, they looked like ECHL’ers in that series.

I believe his last year here him and tree lead the team in +/-.

Remember we had lidster at the D helm, worst D coach I've ever seen. No system to follow either. It's simply unfair to judge him with those circumstances.
This is why we see him greatly improved now as we do several other teams cast offs.

Also remember the more minutes a D plays, the more mistakes occur which every D man makes.
