As much as people wouldn't like it Demko could be used. They do have DiPietro also a few years behind. Markstrom could hold the fort.

Giving up the second pick as some suggested is nuts. There are 4 good Dmen sitting in the 30 - 40 range

I dont think DiPietro ever reaches Demko's level in the NHL.

I think DiP is a little over rated at this point.

Meant as a trade chip, but yeah, exactly, if we were really going after Hanifin, I'd be fine with Markstrom, Baertschi, Tanev and a late pick for Hanifin, Skinner and a 4th

I see him as a career backup guy. Like Jamie McLennan.

You might have to go Gaunce +

I believe Skinner just turned 26 last week, he played 82 games this year had 24 goals 49 points, last year he played 79 games had 37 goals 63 points and the year before that he played 82 games had 28 goals 51 points.

You're not getting that for a bunch of Canuck scraps!!

Late pick... 6 or 7th round, again since I don't see Carolina letting go of Hanifin for less than any of our untouchables, it's sarcasm

I want Washington to win but I have a feeling Las Vegas is going to. So he may indeed get his ring.

Only allowing teams to protect 8 or 9 players makes for some tough decisions. Obviously some GM's guessed wrong.

Having boat-loads of cap space will allow that "fit". I only like Tavares and Thornton there.

Im with you on that

It also shows how players (as Ive said) succeed or fail under different coaches and systems and coaches who know how to utilize said player. If only we'd hired gallant like I wanted!
