The AAV is shocking.

The way the cap is increasing I think it's going to be pretty fair and maybe a bit of a steal on the back end if he continues to play well. I guess that's the risk they want to take. I personally wouldn't have given him more than 4 years though.

That's a lot more than I would have felt comfortable with

I don't know, man...career-highs in a contract year. This one screams "regret and lament" to me, but I've definitely been wrong before

The other worry is with the edge he plays with. He's probably only a couple more questionable hits away from getting a rep with refs and we've seen how that's rendered some guys to be way less useful.

So many posters here use the assumption that the cap will continue to increase, but I’m a little pessimistic of this trend continuing. The revenues have been going up in years past, but I’m not sure if it is due to expansion, more than ticket sales and advertising. They can expand one more team, and maybe a relocation of a couple underperforming franchises, then it would seem to slow way down. I mean at what point do they reach the market saturation? Feel free to correct me if I’m way off base. I just don’t see significant increases in revenues after the aforementioned moves. Thoughts??

LOL the caps gave Wilson more than Zucker just got. Hilariously dumb.

I could see it going down during CBA negotiations but not as much as last time. I think the trend will still be rising over time though

There’s also the fact that he isn’t good
