Don't talk to me.
Very biased rankings. They include under 21 roster players like patrick, proverov, sanheim etc... ridiculous to include non caliber goalie players as prospects.
So no they aren't number 1. - Pres.cup
I think the Flyers have many prospects but not very exciting. Elite nah |

Jim has said the team plans to compete for a playoff spot every season he has been here, even at the start of last season. He will say the same thing again at the beginning of this season, because he believes in this group, and I for one believe in his decisions. If it wasnt for injuries this team would have been in the playoffs last year - 1970vintage

They are number one because they have the best pool, Hextall is God, probably the best GM in the league while we're saddled with one of the worst - LeftCoaster
He should suit up & play goalchie. |

No....Hextall is way better because he has a vision and plan, Benning has no plan and is just trying to appease his master. Hextall is just throwing a quantity of poop against the wall until something sticks. - LeftCoaster

"The Canucks were ranked 26th offensively and 29th in even-strength scoring last season. The sting of losing 146 combined points from the retired Henrik and Daniel Sedin, and Thomas Vanek returning to Detroit in free agency, won’t be easily remedied.
The bottom line is Leipsic looked like a top-six player last season. He just has to prove it this fall.
“He’s got a lot of offensive upside and speed and skill and ability to make plays,” Horvat said after that Sharks outing. “That one-touch back pass to me backdoor, not a lot can make that play.”"
Piece on Leipsic in the Province...I like that kid, he's got good offensive instincts, great wheels and a bit of poop-disturber in his game. |

I think Leipsic and Goldobin will be fighting for a spot, Granlund and Gaunce, Gaudette is more puzzling. Will he actually have a legitimate chance to make the team? If Horvat, Sutter and Beagle are your first three C's, is it Gagne as the 4th? A good problem to have with all this depth! - 1970vintage
nope. AHL will be good for him. Dahlen too.
I think Gaunce gets waived unless Jimbo pulls off a trade.

If they inject a couple kids into the lineup then yes there's reasons to watch this year, which I think a couple of them will make the team. They've gotta keep the fan base interested.
I have a feeling Gadjovich is going to surprise and have a really good camp. He's really improved his stride and he's a big body, that bodes well for the club. - LeftCoaster
I'm quietly excited about Palmu. Think he'll be close this camp.
Highest on Dahlen out of the AHL crew but need to give him time. |

The only time injuries haven’t been an issue was the 2010/11 season I believe.
Injuries will always be an issue for this team so depth has to be a priority. |
