Zero comments so far? Dog days indeed. I'll comment... good story Ty! Sending Donato and Bjork is interesting move. Maybe they anticipate them dominating these games to get a kick start / confidence boost leading up to camp? Zboril... what's your gut tell you on this guy? Feel like if he was gonna be a difference maker at NHL level we would've seen a glimpse by now. Seems to be trending towards a 6th or 7th D type guy. I have high hopes for Lauko. Guy seems to have a bit of an x factor to his makeup along with the wheels. Hopefully he shows he belongs. |

Yup, good write up, I expect Donato to be a force, be disappointing if he isn’t, and hopefully there’s a ray of sunshine for our old, mediocre defense |

Mccavoy is 20. Carlo is 21. John Moore is 27. Krug is 27. Gryz is 24.
Zboril is 21. Urho is 19.
McQuiad 31. Miller 30. One of which i am assuming will be gone.
Chara. Dinosaur.
The defense is not that old... |

Which means we're almost through it! Bring on the season. I can't take anymore Baseball. - glove_was_stuck
I consider myself on board with pretty much anything Boston when it comes to sports but god damn is David Price hate-able. I honestly can't think of any Boston athlete that I have disliked more than him... Even when he is playing well he is a d-bag. You will find me hard pressed to hate a Boston athlete in general but he is just the worst.... I even liked Wideman at times...
And that will be my one baseball rant ever. |

Me Personally?
Carl Everett
Carl Crawford
Tim Thomas (come at me bro's)
Hal Gill
A lot of folks hated Bill Buckner
EDIT: Price is a whiner, should avoid social media, and general human interaction as his constitution is paper thin. He is a disappointing player. So far, he has been unable to perform in the playoffs for any team he has played for. I wish Boston stayed away from him but, I don't find him hate-able, just really, really disappointing. |

Thats too bad really, the blame should have been on McNamara for not putting in a defensive sub, Buckner could barely stand at that point, but his hitting was one of the reasons he was even there.
I liked timmy, but boy did he go off the deep end after the cup,
and yeah, Gill..
imagine if Don Sweeney had Hal Gills body what an impressive player that would have been...

I was 4 years old when that happened with Buckner. It amazes me he got the blame over McNamara when my generation had ZERO issues driving Grady Little out of town in 2003 (weak mutha(frank)er!) and not really blaming Pedro for being a jack ass.
I'll qualify this and say that I will never deny him the cup run or Vezina he won. Great job. However, Thomas was an awful goalie with a poopty attitude who somehow had a couple of stellar seasons. Watching him play caused constant heart attacks. Just an absolute spaz with a horse shoe buried up his ass.
No other player frustrated me to watch more than Gill. God he was a (frank)ing train wreck. Really a microcosm of that entire Bruins era...an exercise in futility. |
