I don't think Hart is called up unless he is going to be the starter. If it is to sit behind Elliott then i think they will use Stolarz and let Hart play in Lehigh.

Stollie is coming off a surgery on both knees. That's not always smooth sailing coming back from that.

so 14 (13 RIP) players that aren't good enough and 1 guy that is definitely an NHL player but just doesn't have a spot or team interested enough

I think it just shows how much work Hextall had to do based on what he inherited and that also includes all the work he needed to do to fix the prospect pool. this is why I am able to be patient

it more bothers me at the thought that someone maybe gave their opinion on a prospect, maybe they were high on that prospect, and it didn't turn out how they thought it would or hoped. so this clown is going to rub it in that person's face now?

I don't really get a chance to see most prospects playing besides maybe preseason. So all I know is what I read. I appreciate the input from people here that have more exposure to these players than I do, obviously.

Are his knees going to get sore getting up and down on the bench to get the door?

I am just thinking they want Hart playing as much as he can. So sitting, even if on the big club, doesn't seem like something they would do.

I see him called up if they need a starter for extended time.

Just a FYI, looks like Service Electric will carry the game tonight. I think it's like channel 15 or 17 if you have comcast.

I think one of the things that hurt Vecchione's short term chances was the Flyers lucking into drafting Nolan Patrick and this was before Giroux was moved over to wing.

Having a guy like Patrick who was phyisically ready at 19 to play in the NHL probably pushed the center depth chart downwards in such a way that a guy like Vecchione would have a tougher climb.

Unless there are injuries, trades, etc, he may have to go elsewhere to get a sniff of the NHL.

Absolutely. There's a bit of hindsight here, but I think he was overhyped. Most Hobey Baker finalists are, to be honest.

Most of them are older players, juniors and seniors, that end up as career AHL'ers or bottom 6, bottom pairing, backups. The college guys that have higher potential are usually signed after their freshman or sophmore years.

Are you serious? Well. Here we go again. Play Elliott til he blows his abs out then we're right back where we were

Do we know for a fact that is was an injury response? Maybe he was told tonights minutes are going to Hart or Stollie and he got PO'd.

Hi Bill -

Question: Is sending Rubtsov down in the first round of cuts to send a message?

It's no joke. Neuvy sneezes and is out 2 months. Elliott gets over played and hurt. Move down to stollie Lyon and hart.

No confirmation but a lot of times that's a response to injury especially when frustrated by the fact you can't stay healthy. May be nothing but can't ignore the history.

Sometimes things you don’t plan to happen, just do. Sometimes you plan for something not to happen but it does anyway. Some things are meant to be.
