The Sabres won two of the four preseason games and could have won all four.

I know it's only preseason and all and it doesn't really matter, but there's no way you can actually think that, Garf. |

as per usual garth is both setting up and leaving room for disappointment and ridicule.
after two, albeit meaningless games, i saw nothing to fear in the sabres. not sure what this clown was watching. |

I think Dahlin is trying to be too fancy. He will get use to the speed of the NHL but for now he should try to keep things simplier and get the puck out of the defensive zone quicker. This is all up to the coaching. |

Was very surprised with the Sabres in both games. Doesn't look like any progress is being made there. Very poor team. Was very disappointed in Dahlin. |

Happens to most of the kids coming in. What works in junior etc suddenly doesn't at all at this level. He really needs to simplify as you said. I think the big thing for Buffalo is getting the team on the same page, something they seem to be doing. It's not going to be a quick sharp turnaround but they should be able to take the next steps forward and seem to get more of a consistent group effort. |

I thought Buffalo's best player last night was Josh Bailey. Every time he was on the ice he created maximum stress on the opposing team with his speed to the puck. I was really hoping he would score as he deserved it with the effort he was putting forth. Just a great effort on his part all game. Eichel could stand to watch a tape of how the guy uses his speed and pursuit to put the opposing team on it's heels... |
