He struggled with Thompson and Nylander (rookies)

Struggled with Girgs (most ready)

Played pretty well with Okposo.

Most of the games he played badly in featured him as the 1C going against top competition.

I just find it funny what a goal will do for the perception of a player.

Against the leafs, Nylander, Thompson and Mittelstadt were eaten alive by JT and Marner. Thompson and Nylander finished -3, Mitts -2, but the story was Thompson was good because he scored a goal (it was a beaut), and Mittelstadt was terrible.
