Believing the Oilers are gonna be good after a good preseason is a bigger trap than, well... traps.

You never got around to Jesse's play thus far. Also I hope someone on the coaching staff or Pete have seen this graph... We are going to play a faster game this year they said..

I mean, he has 0 points so there is not much to talk about lol. I'm just curious why he never seems to get any time in the top 6 or on the pp. Jesse is stronger, bigger, faster than Yam with more experience. I cant see the harm at this point in trying him out with a slumping Drai to possibly spark something to get them both going. Yam is a ghost so far on the right and then you got big Luc on the left side. Poor Drai expected to produce 80 points playing by himself?

I spoke about Puljujarvi later in regards to needing a change on the second line.

He certainly got paid to drive a line, but there's a difference between driving a line and carrying an anchor and a rookie. He'll look much better once Todd is gone and the new coach realizes the rather obvious point that Drai needs speed on his flanks in order to maximize his abilities and up his own pace. He can't be babysitting Yamo AND slowing himself down so Lucic can be involved in the play.

For all the talk of driving his own line, at least McDavid has a real, NHL top-6 talent on his wing.

This sounds an awful lot like the issues we had last year with coaching and our lineup. Good thing you guys didn't hire Gulutzan as a coa....

Oilers have flown 17,579 KM 3 games into the season.

If they win tomorrow, 2-2 start ain't so bad. Also factor in the fact that they have a pretty tough schedule.

Lucic, Russell and Strome costs a more than Hall and Eberle which is (frank)ing sad.

I mean the defense would be weak, but it is now so hey, at least we'd see more than 2 goals a game.

Well it's always abs and legs, but the copious amounts of masturbation does count as arm day. And I can use both arms since I am fapidextrous.

Is it okay to wish for losses only until management is cleared out and replaced? I continue to have NO interest in lottery picks and would happily trade it if it brought in a valuable piece to the team's present and future (2RD or top-6 winger w/ term).

had this idea of hoping they struggle early, house gets cleaned, then they turn it around.

But I can’t bring myself to cheer for losses. Even if it is best for the organization.

Id trade that 1st for either of those in a heartbeat.

Kinda Hoping the sens start tanking soon, and potentially stone might be available. (Chabot is the man. Might have ek’s replacement already.)
Or maybe leafs keep winning without nylander and say Fuk him and entertain a deal.
Can’t think of too many defenders that fit the bill and are available.


Just fire todd and peter already and lets move on
