From reading the stat line from last night the boys did okay against a very good pissed off team for blowing a lead against the oilers, losing 2 centermen in EP and beagle hurts the special teams and 5 on 5, being on the road for 14 days I would say they ran out of gas in the third and combine that with what happened to the jets last game the writing was on the wall, all in all good trip and I like the fact there were no moral victories in that room they were not happy judging from the players comments.

I think it is a good thing if Petterson misses the games against Boston and Washington.

I dont. We will have to waive or trade someone when EP is back. Gaudette will continue to be the first call up moving forward. There are a couple of guys who can be assigned without waivers (macewen, dahlen, palmu). I bet we goes to free agency after this year and we are finally rid of him

every team deals with injuries. I am simply saying, that as the roster sits now, someone will have to be waived or traded when the team does come back healthy. It now evidently won't be for a while with Beagle being on LTIR, but unless EP gets re-assigned to Utica, which will never happen, I would assume Motte goes on waivers, or Leipsic/Granlund gets traded

I don’t think you are correct. I don’t think EP is on IR, otherwise they would/could have called up two players instead of one (Gaudette).

AND, they already sent Biega down to make room for Roussel, so if (very big if) no one else gets injured, Gaudette goes down when Beagle returns. Or he doesn’t because he is already better than someone else...

I concede. You are correct. Biega being waived leaves 23 players on the active roster. I forgot Biega was on the team, and forgot Beagle got hurt. When completely healthy, that leaves Leipsic, MDZ and Motte in the press box, which is 23.
