They should really face a lot more scrutiny than they do. The trades aside, they haven't progressed enough or shown any consistency in improving, despite having the best player on the planet. That team has no chemistry

They are winning. Enough to be in a playoff spot. Don’t think Q will be on the shelf long, unless he really wants to be. I could see a blues reunion pretty quick here. Mabye even LA.

The bolded is why I think they will consider it after this year. I don't think they are satisfied with just being in the playoffs. I think they want to be contenders and they just haven't looked like it IMO

I also think that organization is desperate enough to offer him the money to take a job. I believe I saw a report that he's getting $6m/year for this year and next, so the pay would have to be higher to get him back to work so soon

Bottom line is the video was probably sold for profit and regardless of the 'public' nature of is in violation of multiple FOIP (freedom of information protection) acts.

I get the fact that Uber needs cameras in the vehicles for security purposes, but publicly submitting that video should have massive repercussions vs Uber or the driver themselves. Like you said the players should go after him/her.

I work for a gov't municipality and we have security cameras everywhere. If I sold a video of a celebrity doing something really stupid off our security recordings I would be in huge trouble. Not only would I lose my job, I would get sued and so would the municipality.

Regardless of the nature of right/wrong and how people feel about it they need to figure out how it got leaked and if it was being used for profit. If it was then Uber and that driver should be taken to court.

FOIAs deal with government information that is available to the public.
The hospital is not a public space. You do not own the video. Also, there is an expectation of privacy. However, there are spaces in the hospital that may not be. This would be a grey area that could be an issue given the right case with a person who owned the video.

It’s true, he’ll demand a lot of money. Like lefty said, philly makes sense. Blues does as a fit, but maybe not that salary. LA makes sense if they are going to really turn it around... not that it’s possible, but they like to dream!

I still can’t take this roster seriously, but as long as the young players are progressing then I’m on board with the winning

Game day at last!

I'd been waiting for a break in the schedule, but I missed them while they were gone.

Canucks/Red Wings plus a Demko update and Jett Woo doing his thing in the CIBC Canada/Russia Series, in the new blog:

The real bias comes from those that want desperately to see the good because they are so emotiobally invested in the team. That is why they have continually justified every move that this administration has made in the present.

Those same emotionally biased fanatics then will acknowledge the past mistakes (reversing course) while again justifying everything in the present.

The so-called "biased" people you note are just those that have maintained a consistent position. To you that seems like incessant whining. To some, it's being realistic. 😃
