Stars lose in OT on the PK after too many on the ice. Now that must be a new way to lose.

You are consistent, non game days hate Benning , game days wow these guys are good
- VANTEL

Pettersson and Boeser are good, and fun to watch. Despite those two fabulous picks, Benning is still and idiot. All the stupid things are not undone by two good things.

I'm always reminded of a golf proverb that very much applies to Benning.

"Golf/Benning can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by an occasional miracle".

Gotta be consistent with your message until there's change
- LeftCoaster

I agree and don’t agree, I have seen change this year, no Sedins but the team is playing to win. Stecher, Hutton, Pouliot and Gudbranson are all playing better because of injury circumstances. Some of Benning’s picks are playing quite well.

If the team resembled last year is where I would agree, but I am somewhat encouraged and will not be negative Nellie until January 1st when the wheels fall off...if they fall off.

Which Boeser is good. The slow unexciting one or the other one? Asking for Booner

Tiger Woods = JB
Both can overcome the rough-NH

One who has an axe to grind...
One who holds a grudge...
One who cannot bury the hatchet...
Glass is 1/2 empty...

Did I miss any? 🤪

Well, you'd have to be smart enough to understand that he can be a great player all the while not exactly being flashy or exciting. When he's on the ice there's always a chance he'll make something happen with that shot

There's definitely some positive change, but as I just said, that doesn't, for me, undo all the missteps.

what kind of idiot doesn't use hindsight? How do you learn anything if you're unable to look back after something's occurred and judge.

You consider Sutter a misstep while over 50 % here don't

Guddy is having a much better year and he has been healthy so far.

So maybe what you consider a misstep others don't .

Well...I don't consider Sutter, the player, a misstep, only the acquisition of him for a rebuilding team.

It's perfectly fine for others to disagree, I've never said you're stupid because you don't agree with me (not you just in general) I just have my own opinions.

You have known me for years now. You know I don't mind the disagreements with you at all. I like the teasing and discussions with you and Vintsy. I don't take it the wrong way.

You like to give me the gears and I give them right back to you.

I am not a fan of Benning but not vocal about it.

Holy poop

The best thing about that video is the music the driver turns on as soon as he drops the players off.

Ron Maclean is awesome. I really like him. I would hate to bring back Strombo, that guy was an absolute goof. Cherry is on his way out, and I am almost positive they are grooming Burke to be his replacement. Hockey Night needs an old school mentality hockey personality, and Burke fits the role.
- Codes1087

The only question is if Burke can stay sober long enough to do it. Brian’s developing a fine Irish face.

Like?

Buffalo probably made out the best.

- LeftCoaster

They should have.

Nylander - big question mark
Middelstadt - couldn't hold EP's jockstrap
Dahlin - we'll see, but early returns aren't anywhere near hype levels
