People expect a 4th line to score...no 4th line scores often.

A good 4th line will play 30-40 seconds without getting scored on. If they score every now and then? that’s great.

Young kid Joseph hit that crap defenseman Russel into the boards and his face touched the glass, he pretended like he got shot, no call. Few minutes later Lucic body checks Joseph other side of ice from puck, lays on top throwing punches and face washes.

How Lucic is still in the league I have no clue.

Notice how often leafs D or leaf forward down low tried to spring a leaf F free lob pass or bank shot off boards or option b) constantly icing puck to derail entry and or setup of Vegas in leafs zone. Desperate hockey to get the win but no real cohesive attack plan. We’ll take the win but Babcock doesn’t have a true system in place. Run and gun entry like first 6 games of the season doesn’t work that well as teams catch on and block centre ice and neutral zone.

Dumping puck into O zone and cycling along boards is good but not all 4th liners have hands ie can make good plays with cycling along boards. Let’s see what babs comes up with as he tinkers and also if nylander returns as he is an offensive threat.
