Cody Glass is a pretty good prospect.

Honestly, at this point and with all that talk of him wanting 8M.... I don't know what he's worth.

At a more reasonable pricetag, his value would be through the roof.

My favorite player in the league last 15 years was Datsyuk.
I think Marner shows some flashes of Datsyuk.
In any case I would prefer to play to see Marner play (creativity) over guys that might be more effective/better like Matthews, McDavid etc.

I don't think Seguin, Hall, McKinnon etc. are better players than Marner btw - same category.

Apparently many teams are very interested. He's 22 and was a top 10 pick. He isn't going for a second pairing D without much upside.

year before Leafs drafted Marner, I was already saying Marner was closer to McDavid than most people thought.
that 2015 draft class was great, but I think in few years we will all agree that Marner was 2nd best player out of that year.

It is a weird thing. I was sort of thinking about this last night.

Do any other teams' broadcast spend most of the intermission talking about how things could or have gone wrong?

I mean i don't see too many Ducks or Preds or Panthers broadcasts, but do their broadcast team spend most of the time talking about the negative side of their team?

It's really strange listening to Leafs games. Not too much Leafs hockey is actually talked about. It's mainly faceoffs, shot totals (depending who has more), contracts and passed failures.

Last night Ferraro complained the Leafs were giving up too many shots and then comlained that they hadn't given up a shot for 5 and a half minutes and he was bored.

Going to be tough nights when your best line is:

Brown/Lindholm/Johnsson

I do love their energy though.
