Matthews is going to hold out for every possible cent or he will sign the highest offer-sheet.

They will have to pay the same for Marner, because he is better than Matthews.

But that's what i think the Leafs are trying to do.

Dubas seems like he's intent on him being the 4th highest paid forward (sans Marleau and Horton).
