Quinn has pushed the right buttons more often that not. He's not afraid to sit anyone out for lack of effort or bad play which with previous coaching that only happened with a select few. It's probably going to take another 20 games along with practices to have the new system into the players head where they reacted instead of thinking or resorting to the previous system. As a ranger fan it's not hard to like what we are seeing from Quinn and the team

Yeah, I saw that part in your blog Jan which is encouraging. Honestly, if the guy can help defensively and on the penalty kill, it's probably a win given what we gave up. Anything else would be gravy, and if he can turn things around, it could be a very good trade.

I'd say that total points are just a tie-breaker but I'm sure that JRR, in the same meth-influenced way he set up the scoring, set it so record doesn't actually matter.
