In all fairness, the third guy on that line was frequently Mitch Marner. That being said, I'm all for letting him settle back in before judging him harshly. Theyve misused him this year IMO.

I certainly believe in order to get the most value from JVR he should get top 6 minutes and play with the Flyers best players. Both Simmonds and JVR have been in the same boat. Both have 30 goal ability but need to play with a playmaker and with someone they can form chemistry with.

It wont he a rebuild but I sure hope Fletcher doesnt include this year's 1st round pick in any trade discussions.
