Thanks Carol, enjoy the game in Victoria.

Any word on Stecher?
Maybe he ends up on IR, then no one will be sent down/waived.

Condolences to Jim and family.

Thanks Carol. Enjoy Victoria. Island Canuck fans are really grumpy especially when Canucks are showing progress. Beware.

Did anyone hear the interview with Hitch on 1040 earlier this season while he was without a coaching job? Never heard of EP before the season started. Hadnt had a chance to see him play yet. Hadnt seen highlites. Only heard about him from Van media kind of thing...

Know who he is yet, Hcock?

Pump the brakes kid. He’s good, but doesn’t even have one full season in the NHL yet..

So he shouldnt get coverage in an outstanding start to his career.

to be fair to Hitch, I believe he was living in the States before he took the job with the Oilers(I could be wrong though). That's not exactly the best place to get info on how the Canucks are doing unless you go out of your way to look.

I’m not saying that at all. He deserves his accolades, looks like he’s going to be an elite player. But he’s only played 38 games so far. Honeymoon faze..

Listened to Burke comment on Quinn Hughes, said the kid is an immense talent but he's a one man show, he'll need to cut that out at the NHL level. Anyone seen him play live?

Your post is dumb. It had nothing to do with what I posted.

The Canucks could use a one man show on the back end lol, when's the last time one of our dmen wow'd you with a great offensive play?

Nolan Patrick (#2 pick) has only 3 pts more than EP and has played 106 games overall. Considering most of us wanted Cody Glass at 5th, watching Cody playing in the WJ and not really dominate his peers really drives home what an astute pick Benning made.

I kind of see it. He roams the perimeter puck hogging until he sees his best option.

He beats the drum on Laine being a one dimensional player and went on and on about EP's size. Had the Canucks dead last.

It's Burke. Nothing new.

Time and space is in short supply at the NHL level, hopefully he's a quick study and can utilize his teammates to be most effective with the Canucks.

I get it, but a young immensely talented dman who tries to do too much by himself at times isn't a major red flag for me. As long as the kid is coachable, you can easily mold him into a fantastic player.

Plus I've been impressed with his defensive effort and willingness to fight for the puck, that's a sign of a competitive kid who just wants to win, not a selfish player like Ryan Merkley. He also dropped the gloves after a hit on a teammate.
