I remember Benning declaring something to the effect before the draft that they'd only identified 1 top pairing Dman. Then they go out and draft Juolevi when they could have traded down and drafted either of the other 2.

I wanted Sergachev & the trade down.
Trading down gets shot down every time i suggest it by those hung up on a number not the name.
