When the only thing the guy does remotely well is score and he doesnt do it in 12 games I see it as a problem. This is a player who wants an 8 year $72M deal. If he sees a penny over $8M then we are in trouble. He doesn't defend well, doesn't have much playmaking skill at all. He does score though with the best of them. The Hurricanes are in a playoff spot and lost him for nothing. I am a Jeff Skinner fan, however he shouldn't sniff $9M a year.
