1A) Eichel
1B) Swedish Jesus (Dahlin)
2A) Marner
2B) Barkov

Honestly right now I’d take Barkov over Eichel if we were trying to win a playoff series this year. Eichel should be the better player though in their primes, at least I hope. The offensive potential is 2nd to only McDavid imo once we get him an elite winger, it’s the defensive game Eichel needs to figure out.

*shouldnt have taken this long to put Sheary back with Eichel where he was producing to start the season
*and when Tage’s game went in the toilet,
he should’ve been sent down & Nylander given a chance bc of his good preseason- and there’s an argument to be made that Nylander was good enough he should’ve made the roster out of camp anyways

Skinner-E Rod-Reinhart
*should be Mitts at Center here, but the point of moving down Skinner & Sam is what we’ve needed to do ALL YEAR so that we could have a productive Line 2

Thompson-Sobatka-Pominville
*E Rod would slide down to 3C here with Mitts back in the lineup & Sobatka can ride the pine or move down to Line 4
*And if Thompson were sent down like he should’ve been, Okposo can move up to LW

Girgensons-Larsson-Okposo
*4th line has been pretty decent this year no matter who was rotating in on RW
I say bring back Girgs & Larsson for at least 1 more season

I just think we should be using our assets to bring in more guys that can snipe

Barkov Huberdeau Skinner Reinhart Dahlin Montour.

Hub and Bark are both top 20 in the league in scoring.

Plus add hopefully a top pick this year.

Risto even looked back bc he has backside responsibility in that position
He can’t just charge to the other side of the net

Scandella has to not let his guy walk outta the corner so clean like that

I guess it’s true that once Scandella blew it in the corner that Risto could’ve stepped up,
But is that how they’re coached?
Larsson was closer to the guy coming out of the corner
Seems to me like LARSSON is the one who should’ve dropped down & cut the guy off

Also... there’s absolutely no way that Girgs AND Scandella should’ve BOTH been along the walls that far from the net when you’re down a man
