Piss off bud! By that photo you cannot tell exactly where the puck is at that time. Nice try!

Regardless, Bruins played like crap last night, they were playing like they were scared to lose versus playing like they want to win, they didn’t deserve to win, and wasted a great effort by Rask

It’s really impossible to tell where the puck exactly was in relation to the blue line on the Bruins entry into the zone on their goal.

The goalie interference is what it is. There was contact, it wasn’t overturned. No surprise. No consistency with these and they make it up as they go along. Review board must have not been satisfied if Rask was in his crease or not.

No one talking about Hymans hold on Mccavoy along the boards prior to Matthews goal. But Leaf fans wanna call out Chara for a cross check on Hyman. Lmao give me a break. It’s happened all series both ways with physicality in front of the nets. How about krejci getting decked in front of Tor net with 30 sec left in game 3.

if you show the clip instead of a still image you'll see that Mccavoy actually interferes with Hyman preventing him from getting to the puck.

Well I guess if making a hit or taking the body is called interference.

Hyman didn't have the puck so yeah it is.

If you hold a piece of paper over Hyman and McAvoy and just watch Rask's, his movement isn't hindered at all. Rask said it himself that the contact was minimal. I think that probably has a lot to do with the ruling. I initially thought it was coming back and wouldn't have been surprised if it did. Watching the overhead replay though I can understand why they didn't call it as well.

As for the offside play that a lot of Leaf fans are using as a counter argument, it wasn't offside. They had already gained the zone. They weren't checking on Marchand who was clearly over the blue line. They were looking to see if the puck came out when Pastrnak was trying to keep it in (which it didn't) so the play was onside.

Nothing is changing now either way. On to game 6.

Did you even watch the play bud? Hyman carried the puck into the zone. So yah I think he had the puck.

No they never. He never brought the puck completely in over the blue line prior to Marchand entering the zone.

Exactly. I feel like nearly everyone who’s seen the play (and understands the rules) has accurately concluded that it was offside. Puck never entered, so it was absolutely offside. Maybe it was held up as a “make good” for the Matthews goal? Only explanation I can think of

I haven’t seen one replay that shows conclusive evidence.

Stick to the Leafs thread pal.
We are good here.

No way you can tell from the picture where the puck is with all the shadows. If you can I guess you have Xray vision! Speaking of glasses take the blue and white googles off.

I'm sure the Bruins fans are also ok with McAvoy's slewfoot on Marner.

Quite surprised last game. It was like watching a boring meaningless regular season game.źzzzzzzzzzz

If BB doesnt come out flying tomorrow. Season will be done

Getting tired of that flip the puck out and chase play.seeing it way too frequently from Boston. Is it because the defence is weak or the Toronto forecheck is so stro g? I cant figure out why they are doing it so much

You leaf fans can be absolute (frank)ing babies. It is unreal. Incredible whining. Even up 3-2.

Leafs have been guilty of several slew foots this series. I am sure you ignored them. I also don't care enough to go scour twitter to find them.... Better hope your team wins tomorrow.

Ironic, considering he made that post in response to a bruin fan whining. You guys keep doing your thing though, it's going awesome.

Are you really so blind that you can't see the puck on the blade? A part of it is on the white ice but clearly the majority of it is on the blue ice.
For you to argue about shadows and such is pretty funny. I am pretty confident you know that is offside but just don't want to admit it.

The worst part of all this arguing is that Toronto fans are defending the bad call with a bad call that happens later on. I don’t know if any of you watch or play sports,
but the scoreboard changes how players play... You cannot say that the second Leaf goal occurs if they weren’t up 1-0 already. Just like you can’t say that Boston’s goal/offside would occur if they weren’t down 2-0.

And also, could you imagine the backlash if after a clear goalie interference, a goal isn’t taken back, they take back the Boston goal on a questionable offside.

And last point, screw offside. An inch of a difference over the line doesn’t change whether it would be a goal or not. But you know what does? Hitting the goalie and impeding his ability to make a play. Clear as day occurred.

who the heck scheduled this as a 3 pm start today, wtf. Any other sunday 3 pm would be fine. If they play as uninspired as they did friday, game will be over quick.

Hope your team shows up for you guys and plays Bruins hockey. If you start thumping those pansies there'll be a game 7 in Boston. Marchand needs to score. Good luck.

You realize the hits are even throughout the series so far right?

Should be a good game today!
