If you want a veteran, we have Zib. I wish he turns it on, I really before last season wanted Lias to grow in the captain's role because his intensity. You can't have a captain getting 15-20 pts a year though.

Cost of being competitive. I'd torch the Isles future too if it meant winning two Cups in a row. I loved when the Ryan Lamberts of the world would mock the Blackhawks cap situation despite the fact that they were absolutely unreal for probably 7 or 8 years in a row and won 3 Cups.

Yes, spitballing about fictitious trades on a hockey rumor site. Ur nailed it! I’ve been trying not to come up with actual trade ideas so we don’t have to argue about them for blogs on end. I like Trouba, think he could be a physical shutdown defenseman for us. Like Carlo also but not sure BOS would trade him. Bottom line is we have puckmovers but no one to really go against another teams top line. I think we need a shutdown guy way more than a puck mover.
