Yes, spitballing about fictitious trades on a hockey rumor site. Ur nailed it! I’ve been trying not to come up with actual trade ideas so we don’t have to argue about them for blogs on end. I like Trouba, think he could be a physical shutdown defenseman for us. Like Carlo also but not sure BOS would trade him. Bottom line is we have puckmovers but no one to really go against another teams top line. I think we need a shutdown guy way more than a puck mover.

He could be a physical top pair guy that puts up 45-50 points. He would be the best defensively we have and no slouch in the offensive side, I wouldn’t give him 9 million but I would do 7x7 or 8x5/6 years

here's the problem with Jesper Fast

he always plays his balls off and for awhile now he's been one of the few right handed shots so he's often been put into situations by both AV and now Quinn where he really didn't belong, so often it's been like why the hell is Fast out there

since the talent level is increasing, the need to put Fast out there in scoring situations should disappear, but he's still a valuable guy to have around
