Same.I loved trouba few years back. He seemes to have regressed past few years
- nyrangers2

it's the money that he's going to command that bothers me more

I hate giving a monster package of players and committing to a long term deal like 7 mil a year

I dont wanna start giving away too much of this nice cupboard of players they are building with the yutes

I'll murder the first puppy I see if they ever take the Office off Netflix
- eichiefs9

NBC is satrting their own streaming service in 2020. Netflix contract with the office expires in 2021. It could happen.

Lundkvist, The Peg 1st and Buch for Trouba. Let's hope Gorton makes it happen.

I think Winni views him as a #1 or #2 dman which he probably is close to. They are going to want back more then this
- nyrangers2

this is true, he also put up 50 points and is a proven shut down D, so i'm pretty sure the league sees him as a top pairing d

And he’s been injury prone. Like a certain someone, imagine that

our first back
howden or Anderson
Hjek

this is more realistic and fair. No Pionk

I think Detroit, Philly, Florida will all be in the mix for Trouba

what? he played the entire season this year, never missed a game, the only time he's played less than 65 games in a year was due to a hold out

I'd flip Pionk in there for literally anyone listed

So we basically traded Zucc for Fox +/- some spots and contingencies.

Watched Fox a few times this year. Looked good but not a great skater by any stretch. I think he could play a lot in AHL to start out but who knows what the plan will be.

Lastly, Makar was clearly best player on ice any game he played and played in a much better conference. I wouldn't even mention him as a comp in any way. Just my 2c.

yes, because the offers I read on here are from Rangers perspective and have zero chance of happening. if you feel the same of mine, that's fine

I am not super in love with Trouba

but, I'd do Andersson, Pionk and their #1 back (actually if Dallas gets into conference final, that #1 pick, not the Jets)

Me too, sounds fair to me

Yes points wise. I saw some Jets fans saying his defensive play has slipped. I def could be wrong

Well something is amiss then, because I’m seeing 6 seasons and he played two full ones. He held out 4 times? He’s a greedy basterd I’ll say that

I’ll use only these two as an example because they seem to be the most logical acquisitions if we did get a Dman...but for anyone to want Trouba over Karlsson is so beyond my comprehension, I don’t get it. Idc if he’s a shutdown guy or not, I’ll take the 70/80 goals Karlsson is in on any day and all day over that. Especially with the high end talent he’d be playing with in the next few years, maybe it’s even higher. He’s not the worst defender ever, but with his leadership qualities and the god given talent he has, yes gimme that please. I’ll pay handsomely for it. He’d be worth every damn penny and then some. I said it yesterday, he’d be the best player this org has had since Brian Leetch. And he doesn’t cost us any players!! I’m mind boggled by this whole debate you guys are to lunch if you feel differently

I didn't read any of the other offers, i just thought i saw a rangers fan trying to keep pionk out of a trade and thought it was dumb. Makes more sense when the person trying to keep pionk out of the trade is from WPG

EK way better then trouba, but also 3 years older and will command close to $12m. Unfortunately term, cap, age come into factor here. if there was no cap EK all day.
