You are preaching to a lot of people who wanted the Sedins back because Bo wasnt ready to lead. You are preaching to people who were content with screwing up the future by keeping the Sedins for that last contract. - boonerbuck

Cursed or do they just bring in softies?
Woo's hand shaking when signing a damn contract. Dipetro has to delete social media over some mean words. Linden crying that the fans are too tough on these players. Hughes and EP weighing a combined 300 pounds. Virtanen goes harder at parties in Abby then he does on the forecheck. The only time Hutton throws hands is when someone budges in front of him at McD's. Bo Horvat throws a hit once every 5 games. Boeser afraid of contact since his injury. Baertschi, Tanev and Sutter made out of glass. Demko afraid to board an airplane and then takes a week or 2 off to recover from the trauma. Edler terrified at the thought of playing 65+ games or wearing another jersey. LE hasn't thrown a hit since he got here. OJ has never won a puck battle in his life and is then only battles he's interested in is Fortnite - Nucker101

We starting building the core with Bo 6 drafts ago.
We picked up some nice pieces with Brock Petey Hughes Demko . Two years ago we finished 3 from the bottom , then 6 th and now 9 th.
Call it what you will . Retooling rebuilding regurgitating the name doesn't matter to me. I still see us climbing and will improve again next year. - VANTEL

Some of you think we are still free falling and some of us think we are starting the climb up.
I won't convince you and you won't convince me .
Patient : Doctor it feels good when I do this . Doctor : Yes Mr Thorton I see you scored 4 goals last night. - VANTEL
I don't think we're free falling. I think the team benefitted greatly from outstanding goaltending for most of the season.
The roster can ( and likely will ) be better next season but that doesn't mean they'll take the next step unless they also get great goaltending. |

If they just took BPA off of Button's list they'd still be climbing up 3 spots a year. |

So why do you keep predicting the team falls the other way?

Man, if Bishop is done or even not 100% for game 7 then the Stars are pooched!
Sharks for the cup is still my vote, although i am partial to the bunch of jerks as a way of sticking it to Don Cherry and hhs baby boomer groupies |

"keep predicting" better watch your narrative. |

Being off by 26 points has to count as more than one time. Two and a half times.

In your narrative, sure. |

One year in on the re-build. - Marwood
Like I said call it whatever makes you feel happy but Bo was drafted 6 years ago so obviously some kind of building started before last year.

Like I pointed out yesterday the team has the same winning percentage with Demko. It has only been 10 games so it is way to early to predict if it will continue .
BTW this crowd wants to trade Markstrom.

They should be building every year regardless of were they finish each year.
The actual re-build (they finally said it) started last year when the Sedins wouldn't sign an extension. |

Then someone was hired to re-tool, after the success of the re-tool, the Canucks started the rebuild. |

I don't see it that way myself. A really good player was drafted at 10th but continued to trade picks and sign established vets around the Sedins for a couple of more seasons.
Maybe Gillis finally accepted the need when he picked up the 10th in the Schneider trade but too little too late. He got himself fired and the Sedins once again were the future... who knows.

I believe that is what they are doing . This year we have all of our picks and two extra 6 th round picks . I would say that falls into the continue building category this year.
